WAYS TO ESCAPE & RELAX

Hey guys for today’s post, I want to share with you some ways that can help you escape and relax, even if it’s five minutes. I admit I need to take better care of myself more specifically my health. I don’t have much time to spend on my own to just relax and do absolutely nothing, especially these days. I just remind you guys that taking time to relax and do absolutely nothing is very important not only for your physical health but also for your mental health. If you have other ideas, thoughts or you just want to talk to somebody please don’t hesitate to share them in the comments section down below!

  • Listen to a podcast
  • Read a book
  • Watch a movie and pay full attention to it
  • Turn your phone off for a while
  • Take a break from the internet
  • Go on a walk, run or bike ride outside
  • Close your eyes and breathe
  • Write a story or do journaling
  • Listen to rain or white noises
  • Nurture a plant or pet an animal
  • Drink something warm
  • Paint a picture or do some coloring
  • Hug someone you love
  • Look at nature or the scenery from the window
  • Remember the good things in life
  • Take a bath
