The more you know

Hey guys for today’s post I want to share with a really interesting story. Like I already told you guys I’m pretty scared about the concept of dying in general so when I saw this article I was shooked and I wanted to share it with you guys! What do you guys think? If you have other ideas, thoughts or you just want to talk to somebody please don’t hesitate to leave a comment in the comments section down below!

Tafofobia is the fear of being buried alive. This form of fear arises from the fear of being judged dead while one is, in reality, alive and well.

The “Lazarus Syndrome”, as it is also called apparent death, often scares almost more than death itself. Try to imagine finding yourself closed in a coffin, maybe already buried.
I think being buried alive is the most terrifying thing of all.
Let us examine the matter better, death conceptually speaking is well known, frightening everyone; then think about the apparent death, which is characterized by the loss of consciousness and the impossibility for third parties to perceive the heartbeat, as well as a lowering of the body temperature. In short, all the parameters say the same thing: you have passed away. Declared dead, gone, passed away and ready to feed worms, ashes to ashes and many greetings to earthly goods. And then, maybe, wake up in a coffin with no way out.
Fortunately, the cases of people who have awakened from the death that I propose to you in this post are almost all with a happy ending:

  1. A 61-year-old Russian woman with heart problems who was declared dead by doctors twice. During one of these episodes, she woke up a few minutes before the autopsy, after three days spent in the cold morgue.
  2. The case of a man from South Africa declared dead following an asthma attack and then awakened 21 hours later in a cold room shouting for help.
  3. The case of the dead child who was thirsty and unlike the others, the epilogue is not a happy ending. This story of apparent death happened in Brazil to a 2-year-old boy named Kelvin Santos who died of pneumonia. His body was put inside a sack and handed over to the desperate family who took him home for the night wake, placing him in an open coffin so that relatives could take their extreme farewell. Suddenly, in the middle of the night, the child sat on the chest and asked the father of the water. No one dared believe their eyes and their ears, yet, after a few moments, the baby fell back again on his deathbed, this time, unfortunately, without waking up anymore.

Then there are many other cases of “awakenings” less fortunate … I’ll do a post about it!
