Health & Fitness The more you know

“I’d rather be ashes than dust. I’d rather my spark burn in a vivid blaze than be smothered by dry rot. I’d rather be a superb meteor, each of my atom exploding in a magnificent glow, rather than a sleepy and persevering planet. The right function of a man is to live, not to exist. “

Jack London

It is important for me, at the end of each day, to evaluate how things went and take stock of my actions and behaviors.

More important for me is to make sure I have acted in line with my dreams, passions and values.

Not just work, bills, formalities and grocery shopping.

But the things that really matter.

Here are the seven things I strive to do every day.

Do you want to try it too?

1 – Tell the people you love how much you care about them.
If you love someone, don’t keep them to yourself.

Tell others how you feel about them, don’t assume they know.

Tell your wife how much you love her, remind your children how much you care, make your friends feel all your love.

Things unspoken can easily turn into regrets, don’t let that happen.

Do it every day, tell those you love everything you feel.

2 – Spend time outdoors.

Get up from your chair, leave that comfortable sofa and go out into the fresh air.

Even if you live in a big city, you certainly have the chance to hear the birds chirping, feel the wind on your skin and enjoy the sun’s rays on your face.

We are children of nature, we can’t do anything about it, and that’s fantastic.

Spending even just a little time outdoors has immediate positive effects on your mood and makes everything brighter.

3 – Spend time with your family.

Not in front of the TV, but in a park, playing, drawing, reading together or just talking.

Spend time with your parents and siblings, make your children feel your presence.

Be present, attentive, even with a simple word of affection or a caress.

Hug your family members, make them feel your warmth, transmit the love you feel towards them.

Every day is a wonderful opportunity to dedicate yourself to your loved ones, don’t miss it.

4 – Do something you really want to do.

We spend a lot of our time being parents, friends, good employees, husbands, wives… and we end up forgetting about ourselves.

Every day, then, make sure you are able to carve out some time for yourself.

Dedicate yourself to your passions, to what you really like and what makes you feel good.

Only you know what you love to do … follow your instincts and dedicate yourself to what makes you feel alive and gives you a good mood

5 – Try something new.

Experiment, let yourself be guided by your curiosity, get out of the routine.

Take different paths from the usual ones, read books on topics that are new to you, visit places unknown to you.

Always keep your curiosity alive, feed it, look at people and situations from different perspectives.

Venture into the unknown, leave the already traced path and embrace the news.

Only by getting out of your comfort zone will you be able to fully grow, develop and exploit all your potential.

6 – Be thankful.

Say thanks to those who do something for you.

Thank the people you love for just being close to you.

Thank the waiter or shop assistant.

Don’t expect, don’t take for granted.

Thank your kids for their laughs and your parents for raising you.

Thank your neighbor, don’t ignore him, don’t fall into the trap of considering him as an insignificant detail in your life.

Each person is our world, you continue to be grateful to them.

7 – Smile.

Laugh, smile, rejoice.

Always be present and aware of the moment you are living and make every moment a pearl of happiness.

Each day is too short to experience sad or frowning.

A simple smile can brighten the worst of days.

Not only yours, but also that of those around you.

It is difficult to be angry or resentful towards someone who shows you a radiant smile.

Enjoy your life, have fun: it doesn’t matter your age, your job, or where you live.

Be alive.
